Oslo City Hall
City Hall in Oslo - is a monumental building, which hosts the meeting of the city council. City Hall is known throughout the world as a place of delivery of the annual Nobel Peace Prize.
The construction of the town hall began in 1930 by the famous architect Ragnar Österberg. The opening of the town hall took place only after the Second World War, in 1950. City Hall consists of a central building and two towers. The interior of the rooms is traditional Norwegian style, and are reflected on the walls of the most significant events in the life of Norway, science and economy.
To get to the town hall in Oslo is the subway to the nearest station «Stortinget», the tram number 10 or number 12.
