Hamar Town Hall

Hamar - the only city in Norway, which is located outside the coastal strip. Almost until the end of the 16th century, Hamar was considered one of the biggest cities in the country. Since the second half of the 19th century, Hamar intensively developed and today attracts tourists original and modern architecture. 
 
 

One of the most memorable buildings in Hamar is the Town Hall, which was built in 2000 in the heart of the city. The project was designed by the famous town hall design bureau, which was led by such famous architects as Kjetil Thorsen and Ted, Christoph Kapeller and Greg Dikers. 
 
 

Hamar is located at a distance of 120 kilometers from the capital. You can reach it by train or bus. In addition, the lake Myosa, which is located on the banks of the city, goes to the oldest boat in Norway Shiblander, he still carries tourists.
