Kjosfossen
Kjosfossen waterfall is situated at 866 meters above sea level, close to the highest railway station Myrdal. In this part of Norway is cold enough, even in summer, and in some places there is permanent snow.
Near the waterfall has a large observation deck, which offers stunning views of the water cascades that escape from the top of unrestrained flow and dissolve in the bottomless lake Reynung.
There is an old Norwegian legend that once lived at the Falls witch. She has appeared before the wayfarers as a beautiful girl, fascinated them and left for good at the waterfall.
To get to the falls, you must use the Flåm Railway, a length of about 20 kilometers. During the trip, tourists cross the steep slope of a narrow valley, passing through 20 tunnels and cross the high rises.
