Bergen Line (Bergen Railway)
Bergen Railway - the highest railway in Europe. It connects two major Norwegian cities of Oslo and Bergen. This railway is laid at an altitude of 1222 meters above sea level. Trains run regularly throughout the year. This trend is quite popular among tourists as it gives travelers to famous ski resorts.
Bergen Railway Construction began in 1875 and lasted for 34 years. For the construction of the road has been involved about 15,000 people who were able to manually cut through the 182 tunnel.
