Polaria

"Polaria" - the arctic Park Museum, located a few minutes' walk from the center of Tromso. It is part of a large Arctic Research Center. In the museum you will learn about the features of the harsh northern climate and the unique flora and fauna of Norway. 

Arctic Museum Park "Polaria" was opened at the initiative of the Department of Environmental Protection in 1997. The museum building is constructed of large monolithic blocks in form resembling ice blocks. Guests have the opportunity to visit the museum's extraordinary panoramic cinema, look at the layout of the coast with the northern lights, or watch the inhabitants of the Arctic aquarium.
