Sognefjord

Sognefjord is the second largest fjord in Europe, it is located in the western part of Norway. Its depth is greater than 1300 meters, and the length - 204 kilometers. 


Sognefjord near the ancient Norwegian city of Bergen. It is surrounded by majestic mountains, including small villages lost. Near the Sognefjord is the largest glacier of mainland Europe - Jostedalsbreen, around which defeated the eponymous national park. Also, tourists who have visited these amazing places, can look at a mountain road Aurlandsvegen, and from its observation deck to enjoy the region's natural beauty.
 


To get to the Sognefjord can be by plane, train or bus. If you are going to travel by car, then from Oslo to be driving on the E18 to Sandvika, thence along the route E16 to Tyuinkryusse. Then you have to drive Tenyum and turn on the highway Rv5.
