Nordfjord (Northern fjord)
Nord-fjord - one of the longest fjords of Norway, with a length of 106 kilometers. There is a lot of towering cliffs that attract mountaineers from around the world. In these parts you can also enjoy mountain hiking, extreme skiing or fishing.
In the western part of the fjord are the ruins of the monastery, which was built by monks in the 12th century. This temple was built in honor of the daughter of the Irish king of the Holy Sunnivy.
On the fjord there are several ferry lines, laid the modern road, there is an airport, so the choice of transport depends only on the preferences of the tourists.
