Maihaugen Open-Air Museum
Maihaugen - a unique open-air museum, located in the Norwegian town of Lillehammer. The basis of his exposition was the private collection owned by Anders Sandvingu. This museum has collected Anders antique household items and culture.
The museum also are old wooden buildings that Sandving bought and transported to the land, and then restored them. Maihaugen Museum - is a miniature replica of the Lillehammer. Maihaugen consists of 2 thousand different buildings and is one of the largest ethnographic museums in the world. In the winter, there are crafts fairs in the summer open numerous shops and souvenir shops.
To get to the museum from the center of Lillehammer Maihaugen on foot, the road will take you no more than 20 minutes.
