Cape Nordkyn
Cape Nordkyn or Kinnarodden located in the north of Norway administratively belongs to the county of Finnmark. It is the northernmost point of mainland Europe. The island of Magerøya and North Cape can be found to the west from Nordkyn. Each year, wildlife and the beauty of the vast waters of the Arctic Ocean attract more and more travellers to this area. Depending on season and weather, such activities as hiking and skiing trips, boat tours, husky and reindeer safari, hunting and fishing are organised on the cape.
Honningsvåg, a town with well developed tourist infrastructure, is the nearest city to the cape.
