Museum "Fram" was opened in 1936 by order of the King of Norway. The main exhibit of the museum is a ship called the "Fram", which made its northern expedition Fridtjof Nansen and Roald Amundsen. The length of this unique schooner of 39 meters. Its construction was led by explorer Otto Sverdrup.
